Have you ever experienced something that just happened in your life?
You couldn't prepare for it!
You didn't see it coming!
It just happened!
Perhaps it was a hardship, a difficulty, a tragedy, a challenge.
Maybe you lost something, or you lost someone.
Maybe you received a surprising doctors report, or a surprising bill.
It just happened!
There is a Bible story that talks about something that just happened.
This story is called The Parable of The Wheat and The Tare, found in Matthew 13:24-30.
This story presents us with many perspectives.
There's the perspective of the owner of the field.
There's the perspective of the enemy who planted the tare (weeds).
There's the perspective of the workers who were paid to watch the field.
There's the perspective of the field itself.
Then there's the perspective of the one reading the story - that's you and me!
I want to draw your attention to the perspective of the one reading the story.
The problem in the story is that there were tares planted amongst the wheat by an enemy, without the knowledge of the workers, or the owner. The workers wanted to pull up the tare, but the owner said, "No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time." (Easy-to-Read Version)
So just like what happened in this field, some things just happen in life, and there's nothing you can do about it!
God will leave those things in your life so that He can get all the glory in the end, and so that the enemy and your doubters can be proven wrong about you and the situation!
Don't you want your enemies proven WRONG?
Don't you want your doubters to see God get all the glory from your life?
SO WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? THE WHEAT OR THE TARES (WEEDS) IN YOUR LIFE?
Always keep what's ahead in view, NOT what is.
Not the tare!
Not the mess!
Not the difficulties!
Not the inconveniences!
Not the complications!
Not the challenges!
Not the doctor's report!
Not the hardship!
Keep what's ahead of you - the promises that God has made to you, the plans and dreams that God has given you - in view! Look BEYOND the tare so that you can see the beautiful, amazing wheat!
NOT what is!
Because what is, is NOT what will be!
What is, is NOT where God has parked your life!
What is, is NOT the end of your story!
Keep what's AHEAD in view! LOOK ONLY AHEAD!! See the BEAUTY that's right ahead!
It's right there with your name on it!
We Love YOU! We're Rooting for YOU!
Until Next Time,
Wise Up, Live and Prosper!
